In fact, at SXSW, one of the most groundbreaking tech conferences in the country, my coworker was unable to locate a single working tampon dispenser. It was bullshit — and it was exactly the creative fuel we needed. Together, we decided to solve a problem that has been overlooked for decades: outdated, unhygienic, unreliable tampon machines.
The result is Hooha: a smart tampon dispenser.
It doesn’t jam and it definitely doesn’t need your quarter. Instead, it operates via text and is 100% GDPR-compliant.
We built Hooha from the ground up, creating everything from the name and logo to the brand identity to the box itself.
What began as a passion project simply to see if we could is now a fully functioning smart tampon dispenser that’s generating buzz and breaking down period stigma as it grows.
